Dear Friends,
I hope the following story (my own) will help those of you who are struggling to
convince a friend that he or she ought to take a harder look at the larger
truth, what I refer to as the "Cosmic Paradigm." Slowly but surely this planet
is moving in that direction. Let's find others to join with us to make this
world the beautiful, peaceful, and sustainable home it was created to be. I
consider the alternative, which I presented in my prior Cosmic Paradigm
Newsletter, to be un-thinkable.
Some of my acquaintances, old and new, have had a hard time figuring out why I
am so convinced of an alternative reality that includes UFOs, extraterrestrials,
and the paranormal — a larger truth than that to which they will admit. It is
particularly difficult for those who knew me during the twenty years I was a
conservative venture capitalist.
Let me explain my certainty, as follows, and lay the foundation for what I am
coming to understand is the reason why some people find themselves literally
incapable of opening to the larger truth.
FIRST, my confidence stems from my own OBSERVATION OF THINGS I CANNOT EXPLAIN IN
TERMS OF EVERYDAY REALITY. These are of two types, visual and experienced.
a) I have had a number of visual sighting. These range from lights, at a
distance, that corkscrewed from a low altitude and disappeared into space, to
four square windows that hung, un-attached, as if part of a passenger train
traveling through space, to (the most startling and real of all) the sudden
appearance (materialization) of a brightly-lighted ET craft as it came out of
the solid face of a mountain, a mere two hundred yards away. Once my sensory
perception was opened by events like these, I became aware of visual anomalies
too numerous to record, many of them in the quasi-physical, that region between
pure physical and pure non-physical.
b) I have also experienced a number of things that are clearly deviant from
everyday reality. As I sat writing my first book, Trillion, whose words came
from who knows where, fragrances of an unknown origin wafted past me, once as I
sat viewing the night sky, my chair was bumped from below (others felt similar
disturbances that night), and on several nights, I was visited by unseen
entities who engendered in me an instant reaction of fear, and whom I had a hard
time dismissing from my room. (Those of you who have had similar contact know
what I mean when I say, "I unmistakably felt their presence." I was to learn
much later that I was an "experiencer.")
From these observations, and discussing them with many others, I have learned
that some people will go to great lengths to dismiss visual observations that to
me were unquestionably beyond the conventional scientific/religious paradigm. I
have also learned that virtually everyone has had some sort of an experience
that they cannot explain in traditional terms -- most often these experiences
are simply dismissed when they do not fit that person's worldview.
SECOND, I am reinforced by almost daily COMMUNICATIONS FROM OTHERS WHO HAVE HAD
SIMILAR EXPERIENCES. While each event of extraterrestrial or paranormal contact
appears to be somewhat different, I think it is safe to say that each
experiencer has felt that visceral grasp that accompanies such contact. These
communications from others -- letters, phone calls, and emails -- have occurred
within the last three years, since I went public with my writing and speaking.

those of you receiving this newsletter.
THIRD, THE PUBLISHED RECORD IS EXTENSIVE. With thousands of web sites, UFOs,
extraterrestrials, and the paranormal are the second most popular topics on the
Internet, next to pornography. Thousands of books have been written over the
past fifty years. On my web site,

interesting sites. A word of caution here, be selective -- much that advertises
itself as truth is conjecture, misrepresentation, exaggeration, and outright

FOURTH, EVENTS WITNESSED BY MANY PEOPLE AND GOVERNMENT RECORDS. From the battle
of Los Angeles in 1942,

objective investigator. Such recognition goes back thousands of years and

conjunction with these witnessed events, I must make passing comment on the role
of governments, religions, and the mainstream media as they obfuscate, conceal,
and ridicule this area.
FIFTH, THE DRIVE THAT KEEPS ME FOCUSED IN THIS ARENA. This last one I cannot
explain except to refer you to the movie, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."
Something approaching the commitment of the people portrayed in that movie
empowers me. I did not choose this; I was recruited, and have been dragged
kicking and screaming into it. Now that I am here, I am grateful to those who
brought me here, and I eagerly await opportunities to further pursue the
journey.
I cannot stress often enough, the importance of, at least, being open to that
which is beyond the conventional paradigm, be open, but be selective. I have
great sympathy with those that are having a hard time -- it took quite a bit of
convincing to move me from the traditional worldview with which I had grown up.
I came to my new realizations only after being confronted with situations from
which I had to open-up or to die. After I had done that, I began to understand
that UFOs, extraterrestrials, and the paranormal are but the tip of a vast
reality, a reality I am just coming to understand and appreciate. Still, I
grapple each and every day, allowing the larger reality to re-assert itself. I
can only say that I believe it is well worth the struggle.
From this I have come to understand that A PERSON'S WORLDVIEW -- that psychic
glue that is developed very early in life and reinforced by common experiences
and by traditional institutions -- IS THE MOST PRECIOUS THING IN LIFE, the
compass that guides us. To destroy someone's worldview is to destroy that
person. According to Zen tradition, the collapse of one's worldview is "daishigyo,"
meaning the great death.
Yet it is a person's worldview that causes most people to fear opening
themselves to any alternative truth. It is simply too difficult to lay aside
that which we have relied upon for so many years. To those still clinging to a
conventional worldview, the traditional paradigm, I advise, "Try it another way.
Yes, at first it is frightening, but after a while it is worth the fight to let
go -- I know, I did it. And I am very glad that I did."
I CONTINUE TO GET HINTS THAT A "REALITY SHIFT" IS IN THE MAKING. As I said in my
last Newsletter, it is a collection of messages, signs, and events that together
signal a major sea change. It is only a matter of time; we cannot continue as we
are going. It most likely will happen much sooner, and in more dramatic fashion,
than any of us, including myself, are prepared for.
I encourage those of you who are committed to awakening this planet to take
precautions during these turbulent times. Make sure you are in a position --
physically, mentally, and spiritually -- to assist the transformation when it
comes. Go inside yourself; find how best to prepare for the reality shift.
