Religion

This 15th Century painting shows an "air ship," but the hot air balloon had not yet been invented. Depictions of UFOs (or did medieval people know what they were?) can be found in many painting of this era.

Non-human life forms have told us that they "know" there is a Creator. They have also told us that they "know" there is life beyond death.

Religion has been used as a means of controlling that which people believe since man first began to wonder about life after death and other aspects of the larger reality. As discussed elsewhere on this site, one's worldview (view of reality, paradigm), which is based on beliefs, is the single most important factor in maintaining one's psyche, one's balance. Therefore those who control the religions of a civilization control its people.

The major religions of the industrialized countries of this planet deny the existence of off-planet personalities. In general, they are very geocentric, in most cases backing a conservative scientific approach to reality. Over the past several thousand years, this approach has kept people focused on the here and now. Many people today refuse to open to the larger reality that encompasses extraplanetary life because they fear it will challenge their belief system, their worldview. As discussed elsewhere, one of the main purposes for the sporadic appearances of extraterrestrials is to crack-open worldviews.

The world's major religions were initiated at a time when the Earth was the center of man's universe and God focused his attention on the happenings of this lone sphere. They have been slow to change that fundamental assumption. At best they have publicly adopted a fuzzy dogma that includes all the other inhabited spheres as part of God's creation, and let it go at that -- This despite the fact that they possess abundant proof to the contrary.

Those in charge of the world's religions worry that the reality of extraterrestrial contact will cause a loss of control and financial support. For that reason their leaders have supported a campaign of cover-up and ridicule.

Mortals exist in the non-physical. What does this do to traditional beliefs? Are they different, or just more evolved? Are there another dimensions? What of time and space?

What does it do to one's traditional concept of God, if there are more than a trillion inhabited planets?

The Creator created the universe of time and space. Were there others involved in this process? Is The Creator necessary for the continued existence of the universe?

Does God have to be personal?

Are The Creator's laws the laws of the universe? Are they the same everywhere?

What is the role of evolution? Do the laws of evolution discovered on our planet apply to other worlds? How does evolution work with creation?

How did life come to our planet? Did it evolve as scientists insist? Or was it brought to our sphere from elsewhere as extraterrestrials insist?

What role have ETs played in the development of Earth-humans? Is our DNA derived from off-planet sources? How have ETs influenced mankind's beliefs?

Is it possible that beings from another world could have some of the same social structures as ourselves? The same beliefs? The same desires?

Do extraterrestrials think the same way we do? Do the concepts of logical reasoning apply in other worlds?

Role of The Cosmic Paradigm

Although little is known of the belief systems of people from other planets, it is probably safe to assume that on planets millions of years older than ours the situation is quite different.

The Cosmic Paradigm is about recognizing our current situation and then taking action to transition it for the benefit of all people of this planet.

1. Recognize that the current situation does not operate in the best interests of the vast majority of people on this planet. Recognize that we, the people, are allowing this situation to continue, and that we have the power to do something about it.

2. Acknowledge that we are not the only inhabited planet, that we are one of many. Promote a proper attitude for interacting with non-human life forms.

3. See a new world, a veritable paradise. Affirm that such a planet is possible and act as if we are achieving this situation.
